Don is renowned in his home country of Sri Lanka and around the world for a vibrant, unique style of presentation paired with dynamic culinary skill. Over 38 years, he's worked as a chef, TV personality, and restaurant owner — travelling the world to perform in food events, demonstrations, and shows.
His main-stream television cooking show, "Cook with Don," has brought joy into Sri Lankan households for over two and a half decades (24 years). He's been a brand ambassador for international names including Philips, Kenwood, and Panasonic — and his entertainment side has taken him further still: host, MC, and singer, performing in English, Sinhala, and Hindi.
Don writes and performs his own music, featured on his YouTube channel, and is passionate about fusing Eastern and Western flavours — innovations that have inspired popular cooking-song videos online. Today, alongside his performance work, Don serves as a Certificate III Trainer at a Registered Training Organisation.
